Jacques was born July 8, 1950. He started painting at a very young age. His artwork caught the attention of Casimir Laurent, an established Haitian artist. Jacques studied briefly with Laurent. He exhibited in Montreal, Canada in 1973. He also had a one man show at the Berkshire Museum in Massachusetts and participated in group exhibitions abroad. Louissaint’s paintings are rare and prized by art collectors.
